Call for Entries Guidelines and Requirements

First steps to prepare for entering the Student Art Exhibition

  1. Download the Call for Entries Guidelines ²ú±ð±ô´Ç·É.Ìý
  2. Read and follow the directions in the Guidelines before submitting entry to the Student Art Exhibition.
  3. Calendar the Important Dates found in the Guidelines.
  4. Prepare entry submission by following the Guidelines.

Directions to Submit Entry to the Student Art Exhibition

Upon completing the above steps to enter, (including preparing the word document application and digital images of artwork), follow the directions below and click "Submit Entry" to be directed to the SmarterEntry website to complete the FREE entry submission process as follows:

  1. Create an account with SmarterEntry using student email only. (Applicants who registered an account with SmarterEntry in prior years should use the same username and password).
  2. Select Student Art Exhibition under "Available Competitions" from the SmarterEntry website.
  3. Under "Registered Competitions" for Student Art Exhibition, select "Submit New Entries". Entries may beÌýreviewed and/or changed up until the application deadline.
  4. Upload the word document under "Statement" on the SmarterEntry website.
  5. Under "Submit Your Entries", upload jpeg images of artwork and fill in web form "Artwork Title" and "Dimensions" (inches).

  • March 24, 4pm -ÌýInformational Meeting (optional) Zoom ID: 852 918 8768 Passcode: S144
  • March 25, 1 – 4pm -ÌýFREE Mat Cutting Workshop (optional) 30-45 minutes per group of 3 students. To register email jan.marlese@deltacollege.edu.
  • April 7, 11pmÌý- Application DeadlineÌýUpload digital images of artwork and word document. Application online at gallery.deltacollege.edu / Call for Entries menu no later than 11pm on April 7, 2025.
  • April 8 – 14 - Artwork Selection by Exhibition Juror
  • April 14Ìý- Artwork Selection Announcement (check email used for entering after 5pm)
  • April 15 – 16Ìý- Deliver Selected Artwork to GalleryÌýShima 144 (8am–5:30pm or by appointment)
  • May 1, 5 – 7pmÌý- Gallery Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony
  • May 2 – 9 -ÌýGallery ExhibitionÌý(M–Th 11am-5:30pm, Fridays 11am-1pm, Sat, May 3, 11am-3pm)
  • May 12 – 14Ìý- Pickup Artwork (8am–5:30pm or by appointment)
