The San Joaquin 188bet±¸ÓÃÍøÖ· College Library offers a variety of print and physical materials for our users to check out at our Stockton and South campus locations. The rules vary by the material type and the user group that a patron belongs to.ÌýÌý

San Joaquin 188bet±¸ÓÃÍøÖ· College students and employees may renew their materials online by signing into their library account on in the upper right-hand corner of the webpage; the login credentials are the same as the ones used for Canvas and email.ÌýÌý

All users may renew their materials in person or by calling the Circulation Desk at the Stockton campus (209-954-5143) or the South Campus at Mountain House (209-954-5151, ext. 6081) or by visiting our Stockton and South Campus library locations.Ìý

Main Book CollectionÌý

This makes up the bulk of the library collection; there are books on a variety of topics and genres including non-fiction and fiction.Ìý

  • Students: variable upon professor’s preference (1 hour, overnight, 2-day, 1 week)Ìý
  • Staff: Not allowedÌý
  • Faculty: 3 weeks for the professor who placed the material on reserve*Ìý
  • Community borrower: not allowedÌý

Renewals: students can only renew in person if no one else is waiting for the textbook; online renewals not allowedÌý

*We recommend that faculty only check out reserve material on an as-needed basis as this keeps students from being able to use the materialÌý
