Application Periods and Deadlines

  • The CNA application periods听for the Fall semester cohorts are:听
    April 1鈥擜pril 30听&补尘辫; July 1鈥擩uly 31.
  • The CNA applications periods听for the Spring semester cohorts are:
    September 1鈥擲eptember 30 & November 1鈥擭ovember 31.
  • The HHA application period听for the Summer semester are:
    March 1鈥擜pril 7.

Before You Apply

All CNA applicants MUST be enrolled and know your 188bet备用网址 College ID Number and email address in order to submit an application to the CNA Program. To be current as a 188bet备用网址 College student, an "active application" must be on file with 188bet备用网址 College Admissions and Records. If you have not attended 188bet备用网址 College for two or more semesters, then you do not have an "active application" and must reapply to 188bet备用网址 College. Any student who does not have an "active application" on file prior to the online application opening date will be unable to submit an application to the CNA program.

Steps to Apply

Steps to Apply to the Nurse Assistant Training Program

  1. Review all the program information on the web page at CNA Program and your own personal commitments regarding work hours, other family responsibilities, and personal goals to ensure you are ready to participate in the program.

  2. Review the information on criminal background clearance and determine if this will be an inhibiting factor in completing nursing education training. Background Clearance Information

  3. New students must complete the enrollment process as a student to San Joaquin 188bet备用网址 College. Current students must be in good standing with the college and their information must be current.听

  4. Submit an online application to the Nurse Assistant Training program during the online application period (available only during the application period). Students will be randomly selected to attend the program and will be notified of their selection through their 188bet备用网址 College Student email account.

  5. 听CNA Information packet will be emailed to those students who are selected to attend the program.

  6. Purchase textbooks, uniforms, Certified Background account, etc. as specified in the CNA Student Information packet.

  7. Attend all classes.
