Private Foundation Resources

There are numerous private foundations that offer funding to non-profit organizations (including institutions of higher education) for projects targeting specific interest areas. Below are two major search engines that allow you to look for foundations by location, type, and name. Note: Each search engine offers a paid membership, but basic information about each foundation and limited grantseeker resources are available for free.

The听听provides access to grant databases and foundation directories, a full library, grant-writing workshops, and other support serves to non-profit organizations and their employees. Although a paid membership is required to check out library materials, the Center鈥檚 library is open to the public during regular business hours.
