Using the Class Search Tool

Class PlannerPlanning your classes has gotten easier!

The Class Search includes new tools to helpyou build your ideal schedule and register! Once logged in to the Class Search, you’ll be able to:

  • Search and select available classes
  • Add breaks to your schedule for when you can’t (or don’t want) to take classes
  • Automatically generate all the possible conflict-free schedules for you to choose
  • Send Your selected schedule to your “Shopping Cart”
  • On your registration day and time, register for all classes in your schedule
  • Continue to Add/Drop classes as needed.

How do I log in to the new Class Search?

You will be able to accessthe Class Search from your Okta Dashboard and from your My188betַ Dashboard. Just click on the Class Searchtile and you’ll be logged in!

Do I have to use the new Class Search?

For now right, it isa supplemental tool but not required. You can still register via Manage Classes in My188betַ as they have done in previous semesters.

Can I register in My188betַ like I normally do?

Yes! For right now, you can still register in My188betַ → Manage Classes like you normally do.
